脇田美術館で開催された軽井沢シャクジ能では、「闇」をテーマに、暗がりの中で光を放つ作品と能の音が響く舞台を構成。素材には放置されていたカラマツを用いた。光、音、植物素材の存在感を組み合わせ、見るだけでなく聴覚や空間感覚にも働きかける舞台表現。
At the Shakujinō performance at Wakita Museum of Art in Karuizawa, the theme of “darkness” was explored through works that glowed in the dark and the sound of Noh. The installation made use of larch timber that had been left unused. Light, sound, and plant-derived material worked together to engage not only sight but also hearing and the audience’s sense of space.
