陶芸家・道川昌三がパフォーマンスの中で生み出す生の土の花器に、花を生けていく協働作品。器が完成してから花を添えるのではなく、器が形づくられる時間といけばなの所作を連続させる。土と植物、作り手の身体が交わる、その場限りの創作過程を作品化した。
A collaborative work in which ceramic artist Shozo Michikawa forms a vessel from raw clay during a performance, and flowers are arranged in it as it takes shape. Rather than adding flowers after a vessel is complete, the work links the making of the vessel with the gestures of ikebana. Earth, plants, and the artists’ bodies meet in a creative process that unfolds in the moment.
