“Yōgō no Matsu” Noh Stage with Hiroshi Senju

千住博氏との、能舞台の「影向の松」を主題としたステージアート。日本画といけばな、舞台空間が交わり、松が象徴する自然や神聖な場のイメージを現代的に再構成する。異なる芸術領域の表現を重ね、能舞台における象徴性と視覚的な広がりを引き出す。

A stage work with Hiroshi Senju inspired by “Yōgō no Matsu,” the pine associated with Noh theatre. Japanese painting, ikebana, and stage space come together to reinterpret the pine’s symbolism and its connection to a sacred natural setting. By bringing different artistic disciplines into dialogue, the work draws out the visual breadth and symbolic power of the Noh stage.
